Hi there,
I'm happy to be the new owner of a 2016 4 runner Trail edition (2 rows of seats).
Anyone have any tips for setting it up for dogs?
I do various dog sports and have 5 dogs - usually 2 of which are competing with me in sports but sometimes everyone comes along for a hike.
I saw information about ordering Canvasback cargo liners and have done so. I have configured a Petsmart purchased car divider for the back window because one of the dog sports I'm involved in doesn't allow the dogs to have access to an open window without something blocking it. I bought Breeze Guard window screens (custom made for the 4 runner) for the back passenger windows.
I'm interested to know what kind of divider would work behind the front seats...I'd always have the second row down and the petsmart car divider's 'legs' would 'fall down' into the hollows made by the seats folded down. Just wondered if anyone had anything that worked to keep them out of the front? If I'm in the car they'll stay in the back but once I'm out of the car - and busy with set up or gone for a while - then all bets are off. Would rather have something there that would be sturdy...
