I'm looking forward to the pics. I'm either going with the OME or the Sonoran Steel lift, depends on my budget at the time, too many hobbies too little cash! Was the kit complete? any problems installing?

Thanks

Gary

The kit was complete. Front 881 coils and N91S struts. Rear OME890 coils and N86 shocks. Tried to install a 1.25" top spacer up front, but I couldn't get the lower strut eye to the lower control arm. I'm glad the spacers didn't work because it sits level as is, it would have been nose high if the spacers would have worked.

how much and how high?

I am about to do an OME lift and I hope you dont mind me asking how much was the total lift and how many inches did you go with? Your runner looks great! Are you still running stock tires or are you gonna go with something bigger? I want mine to sit just about like yours it looks great!

The lift was about $678 delivered. I put it on my self. It's the only size ome offers, although i added a few ome spacers up front to assure a level stance. I'm still running the 265/75 tires. I'm looking at 285/75 baja claw radials or procomp xterrains.
After driving almost a hundred miles, i don't care how much it cost or how high it lifted. The ride is so much better than i could have ever thought. This kit is well worth the money.

After doing ao self install i'd have to say that if you want to go with and higher lift, you'd have to go with the tacoma 5" front and ome coils and 3" coil spacers, custom trac arm extensions and panhard drop/extension in the rear.
The tacoma front lift drops the diff, the spindle and the lower control arms(with a subframe bracket) down the required length. And drops the steering linkage and sway bar. And i'm not even sure it's compatible with the 4runner. But if it is, that's the ticket to a 6" suspension for 3rd gen 4runners. I need to find a tacoma to crawl under...

Thats cool! They only offer one size lift? Is it a three inch or is it 2.5? Does it ride better than stock? Thanks for the info..

3" front and rear lift. 3" front thanks to ome spacers. Yes it rides better than stock.

did you use stock springs and shocks up front and 3 inch spacers? 3 inch ome springs and shocks in the rear? Was it easy to put on and how long did it take you to do?

read my second post, 4 hours and a 12 pack with shop lift and bench strut compressor. Alignment took another hour. Screwing with the front top spacers was a waste of time. Put a wrench on the top nut of the rear shocks and took a pair of channel locks to the shock til the bolt broke. Unbolted the rear brake line brackets on the axle to allow the axle to drop a bit further. all the parts are on arbusa.com

lookin good bro, the 265/75s sit suprisingly well with the 3, 285/75s will look even greater. you plan on getting a body lift in conjunction? Could you completely list the tools required that don't come in the ome package to complete this? I want to make sure before I pay someone to do mine.

no tools come in the packages. Metric socket set up to 22mm with ratchet. Breaker bar. Wrenches to match. Spring compressor. Bench vice or press. Jack and stands. channel lock pliers and lock grip pliers. dead blow hammer or rubber mallet. pry bar. center punch or small screw driver. Torque wrench if you are paranoid. Air tools make work 10x faster. There could be others I can't remember. No body lift happening here.
by the way, do you brew your own?
