Lifted!!!!NEW PICS..4in Ne Kit,enkei-rts,285/70/17
I just installed my NE 4in lift.with 17in enkei rts rims, good year MTR 285/70 17...the ride is the same..the tires arent really loud .but you can hear them..I think it looks perfect, they should sell them from the dealership like this..I love it

Looks neat, now go enjoy it.
I think you can host pics on Car Domain, etc.

Looks great! How much trimming did you have to do to fit those 285s in there?

Looks Great
Yeah i agree they need to come with a factory option to put a lift, wheels and tires on it. Looks F-N Bad Ass! Do the tires rub when you make hard turns? How much did you end up paying for the lift? Once again looks really good

So with this lift and stock Limited 17" wheels what is the max tire size you could got without doing more than removing the front mudflaps? I would think the answer would be different depending on the lift you ahve, the wheels you use. In searching the archives though ist seems to be more random, some say 265 70/17, others say 275/70/17.....?????

4 in lift
I get some rubbing on the frame rail, when I turn all the way.. But im not running a zero offset...im running the 10 on a 17x8. beleive it or not but i havent trimmed anything yet..only removed the mud flaps... But,I havent taken a bump at high speeds yet...it is pretty close..im gonna look for marks on the trim so, I cut the least possible

I jock this rims cuz the look like the american racing side winders(first choice) and their half the price..

The intstall only took 3hrs, but we had a lift at just tires and my friends, all have raised tundras.( I smoke them all the time,) the kit went on easy I reallly recomend you have a air gun, that spring compressor,is a hassle , we had to reposition it a couple times so the rear can go back in with the spring comps dont get in the way. the nitrous express kit impressed me , but I never used spacers b4, and the instructions are amazing. If you ever lowered a car its basically the same thing. But , I would say its 6( from 1-10 hard) you do need at least 2 ppl and 1 has to be pretty strong or heavy)

as far as putting 285's on a stock rim I wouldnt recomend it ..my rims put the rims an inch more out and it still rubs on the frame.and my MTR are freakin knoby. But , prove every1 wrong and try it for your self .. I spoke to american tires and they said I could try them on for free.. But bought rims ne ways

IL POST THE PICS TONITE!!!!!! AND THANKS FOR THE COMPLIMENTS

yeah we had a lift and air tools.everything came out easy. we had problems putting the front lower struts. alligning thr holes was hard. oh yeah we also unbolted the lower control arm. and i didnt have to pull the ball joint. theres 2 19mm bolts that take the spindle off the lower control arm. I just thought that was cool...oh yeah whenever some1 lowers the rear diff, keep your eye on those rear brake lines..................and the rear swaybar doesn't fully bolt in.

hey buddy!! that looks awesome! i meant to write back to you in your email after you sent us those pics, but your truck looks absolutely great!!!
i was installing the new poly components in my truck this weekend (was already running a NE lift, but wanted to go higher) and i sure wished again that i had air tools and/or a person to help. doing all that with hand tools and no help never gets any easier.
this was probably the 10th install i've done, and i'm really really not looking forward to ever doing it again. ;)
anyway, it looks really good, Carlo, and i'm glad my instructions helped. sorry they were so long, but i figure more info is better than not enough.
keep in touch with us, cus we're about to introduce a lot of new parts ... i'll email you instead of taking up your thread here. just wanted to compliment your truck and your accomplishment upon finishing up the install.
