Ok. So I'm getting ready to order the parts for my timing belt R&R.
2UZFE V8
This is the list I've come up with (thanks to several members here). Prices are from 1st Toyota Parts. They had the lowest prices on the net. My stealerships wanted about double for these things. A$$HOLES!!!
13568-09070 Timing belt $38.20
13540-50030 Tensioner $38.28
16100-59275-83 Water pump, V8 $95.64
96761-24019 O-ring for water pump $2.20
96761-35035 O-ring for water pump $2.39
I'm probably NOT getting the two idlers. If they check them and something is wrong with them, then I will just bite the bullet and get them from the stealership I guess at the time maintenance is being performed. Same with the seals.
13503-0F010 Idler sub assembly $60.50
13505-0F010 Idler sub assembly for tensioner side $60.28
I also already have the upper and lower radiator hoses on hand.
I need to get the Toyota long-life coolant, but am trying to figure out how many gallons I'll need, and whether or not I can (or should) use anything other than that.
I'm not too concerned about ordering Toyota specific gasket-in-a-tube for the water pump. I just don't see it being a super special formula that would be any better than any other tube available from NAPA, etc. Just don't see it...
Am I forgetting anything? Any other thoughts or suggestions?
