i know, more about fog lights but, i want to mount them under my rear bumper for hooking up my trailer at night and i live in the country and spotting obsticles while backing up is tricky. so any pics and the names wound be appreciated. thanks in advance.
I did this mod a few years ago. Not expensive and the lights work great.
On my 1999 I found there are pre-drilled holes on the bottom of the bumper 3/4 of the way to the outside end and the lights mounted without any effort.
I bought a cheap set/kit of auxillary/driving lights (55W) at NAPA. Kit included wiring and switch.
Have used them for night launching/retrieving my boat at the unlit ramp for 4 years. Even with all the salt, not a single problem. They are adjusted slightly outward so I can see behind and the sides (when backing in the trailer).
Here are 3 photos. Sorry we got 12" of snow today. Took the photos is the dark.

INSTALL Notes:
Rather than tap the reverse lights, I have them to a switch installed in one of the spare cutouts on the lower right side.
Wires run from the lights through an existing grommet in the trunk floor (under carpet) along the side, under the door threshold trim pieces and up to the dash. Used the existing grommet at the firewall to run the wires to the battery with an inline fuse. All was included in the kit. It is a clean install and all wires are unseen. Took 30 minutes.
looks good, they really light throw alot of light. and thanks for the install tips, i might do mine tonight. im going to go to my local dealer tomorrow and get a couple factory fog light switches.
