Productive morning - Canadian Visors and Door sills installed

I installed the Door Sills last evening, but didn't get a chance to take pics since it was too dark.

This morning I installed the Canadian Vent Visors and I really like the look. I like them better because it has a 1 piece look to it since the front and back are so close to each other.

I do have to apologize for the dirty truck as I'm too lazy to wash it right now and not fortunate enough to have a girlfriend to do it for me ;):

I'll try to take some better pics when she's all washed up... And now its time to tint those windows as well.

Where exactly did you get the Canadian vent visors? They look great compared to the oter types.

Yeah, I have never been one for the visors, but those look nice! Let us know where you got them from.
 
Thanks for the compliments guys. Yeah I got them from here: http://www.toyota-parts.ca/product_info.php/products_id/87 after I saw Bobby and EdL04Sport had them on their trucks.

It works out to around $80 shipped to your door. When you buy them it looks like its $100, but that is in Canadian and when converted works out to be less.

The door sills are from Krosno, he hooked me up for $30. He got them cheap from someone else and never installed them so I ended up buying them. Burtman charges around $60.

Some have installed the door sills on top of the factory sill because the aluminum one is a bit shorter than stock, but in the instructions it says to remove the factory ones. Toyota has to be smarter than me so I followed what they had in the instructions.

Yeah I need to photoshop one of the pictures as you can see the door ding I have under the door handle :(

Meh, it's money that just would have went to sex, drugs or alcohol anyway and the truck is so much better (my dominant addiction).

BTW since I was in the mood I also bought the SPP 80w yellow fog bulbs. I hope they look as good or better that the clear fogs. I'm not too worried about brightness I just hope the yellow doesn't look out of place. We'll see.

No problem. I'm glad You like them. Those Canadian vent visors look really interesting....I think that will be next mod for my 4r....

The "stars and spp fogs 4" picture looks great. I doubt my oem fogs are close to that bright. Nice cutoff on top for the fog lights also. I know that is the lens but it really stands out in the picture with the yellow light. Also when veiwed from the front in your pictures the fogs don't look too yellow (that was what I was afraid would make them look bad)

I'm going to have to drive over and give your rig a good once over before I make the purchase... but I do like the look, you debadger of 4runners!

I will have my skirt wash the rig again before I place the additional Sport Ed 4wd, gx 470s' V8 badge, and vvti. I must admit... she did a good job.

BTW. Like the door sills but now that we spoke of the one that light up... I can't stop thinking about installing my imaginary lighted door sills.:awais:
